Resumen
The research work addresses the creation of a portfolio of services for LAMDA (Laboratory of Manufacturing and Advanced Design), the new laboratory of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, where a comparative and descriptive methodology of research is used, on emerging technologies of industry 4.0 as are additive manufacturing (3D scanning and modeling, 3D printing) and adjacent technologies such as thermoforming, CNC, laser cutting and circuit printing. A study of the current state of these technologies is carried out in Colombia and its proponents within which institutions of higher education and private initiatives are located. A thorough identification of the equipment with which LAMDA counts and the establishment of its capabilities is produced in a consistent manner. From the above it is realized a recognition of the trends and usability of the technologies available in the current context at the academic and industrial level. This allows for the final part of the internal and external service approach for the university's prototyping laboratory.
