Resumen
Identify how to strengthen political thought through the narrative, in the tenth grade students of the school " La Amistad " IED. The theoretical framework was based on the positions of authors like Jerome Bruner, Paulo Freire, Gene Sharp, John Dewey and Rudolf Arheim among others, who presented essential contributions related to narrative and Cognition addressed in Chapter 1 and the Political and Visual Thinking School, in Chapter 2. The design responds to a Joint Research study, descriptive scope, which were designed as instruments for data collection and quantitative elements, the survey and interview and qualitative and focus groups. Results from the investigation showed that the narrative tale and cartoon are essential to encourage political thinking elements, creativity and inventiveness of students, strengthening his argumentative, analytical and interpretive ability. In conclusion it was noted that the use of stories and cartoons with a partner approach - political, allowed strengthening the thinking of students as political subjects, achieving a positive involvement in their perception of oral narrative, written and visual, encouraging them to actively participate in exercises political narrative.
