Resumen
This document aims to present about the activities and other actions carried out during the 2023 edition of the Second School Arts Festival, in collaboration with the District Department of Education (SED) and the Department of Culture, Recreation, and Sports (SCRD). Participation was undertaken as a graduation modality (internship) in accordance with Agreement 012 of 2022 from the Francisco José de Caldas District University, Faculty of Sciences and Humanities. Within the context of the 2023 School Arts Festival, held in Bogotá Colombia, the internship offered the opportunity to apply academic training from the Francisco José de Caldas District University in an enriching and valuable experience with academic settings and school work environments at each of the public educational institutions visited in the Bogotá district. This approach was focused on cultural and educational aspects, which were evident throughout the festival, particularly in the performances by the artistic groups. The Department of Education and the Department of Culture planned this event with the purpose of fostering and promoting artistic expressions and manifestations among students from an early age. This report will provide an account and showcase how the artistic-cultural space is fostered, recreated, and managed within the academic settings visited, considering the festival's focus, allowing students to showcase and refine their live talent, as well as the creativity displayed in the various interests of the festival across the seven artistic areas, which were: Music, Dance, Theater, Visual Arts, Literary Creation, Audiovisual Arts, and the Interdisciplinary area. Additionally, this report will present the challenges and accomplishments, including the planning of festival dates and schedules according to the role and responsibilities assigned to each intern, as well as their duration; the different meetings and discussions held with personnel from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, all of which will be recorded in this document, along with evidence of my experience as an intern, both as a teacher-in-training in the arts.
