Resumen
In this project, an improvement study was carried out that allowed proposing different alternatives or strategies that facilitated decision-making regarding the reduction of costs related to the labor of one of the operations of a logistics company, in which there is a series of processes necessary for the distribution of goods to the end customer, generated from electronic commerce. This process is of vital importance for the company and the country, since the purchase, sale and distribution of merchandise generated from electronic commerce has increased in recent years thanks to globalization, easier access and external factors such as the pandemic caused by COVID-19 that forced people to look for alternatives that would allow them to acquire their products without leaving home and companies to generate, on the one hand, channels that would allow electronic purchasing and on the other, develop strategies that allow them to be competitive, while reducing costs and optimizing your distribution processes. This project initially presents the statement of the study problem, the recognition of the operation and the collection of all the required information. Subsequently, the input statistical analysis of this information and the development of the model is carried out, supported by the specialized software FlexSim. With the results obtained thanks to the output analysis, different alternatives are proposed, choosing the configuration that was the most ideal in terms of the results generated in terms of productivity and cost reduction.
