Resumen
This degree work seeks to strengthen variational thinking from arithmetic sequences that can be modeled through first and second degree equations with the EVA EQUALIMAT. It was carried out with 21 students between 13 and 16 years old, belonging to the ninth grade of the Rural Departmental Educational Institution (IEDR) Laguna, located in the rural area of the municipality of Cucunubá, Cundinamarca. The methodology used was based on a mixed approach and it is descriptive; It was developed from seven phases, namely descriptive, comparative, analytical and explanatory, predictive and projective, interactive, confirmatory and evaluative. As a result of the investigation, it was found that, once the intervention was carried out through the ECUALIMAT Virtual Learning Environment (EVA), designed under the ADDIE methodology and supported by the constructivist and connectivist pedagogical model, the results of the students in the variational thinking factors they improved significantly, since at the end of the interaction with the EVA the correct solution to the proposed activities was evidenced, consequently, the importance of using, according to their needs, Information and Communication Technologies is highlighted. (TIC) to improve teaching and learning processes.
