Resumen
This research is carried out within the framework of the “Pasantía Niños y Niñas de Bogotá": Between the desire of the policy and the reality of institutional practices. There is an increasing wareness in regards to those children who stay in the hospital for long periods of time, who are also part of the program Hospital Classrooms. Additionally, it highlights the role of district public policies in the development of this program, with the purpose of having a perspective of the scope they have had, and to understand how it has favored the children. This will be demonstrated through a documentary analysis in a frame time that was established from 2010 to 2020, taking into account that in this period of time 10 years have passed since the creation of the program.
