Resumen
This report is the result of the internship process carried out through the Ministry of Culture at the National Library of Colombia, offered by the Transversal Academic Project for Teacher Training in New Inclusive and Solidary Educational Experiences at the University Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. A project is established, which aims to contribute to the creation of an accessible and inclusive space in the library, also supporting the configuration of the "Connecting Senses" room. This document defines concepts related to sensory disabilities, accessibility, and inclusion, thus providing the theoretical foundations for the research. An exploration of the space and the available resources at the National Library of Colombia is conducted, where books and materials incorporating elements such as Braille, sign language, and other accessible formats like easy-to-read texts are identified, reviewed, and acknowledged. This process allows for determining the current state of these materials, as well as evaluating their usefulness for the "Connecting Senses" room, contributing to the creation of a more inclusive and accessible environment for everyone. Finally, a project is established with the central goal of contributing to the construction of an accessible space for individuals with sensory disabilities. By implementing various pedagogical and communicative strategies, support is provided for the configuration of this space, considering factors related to inclusion, corporeality, and the perception of the world.
