Lockdown period caused by COVID-19, triggered effects on the emotional development of children, producing new challenges for schools concerning with the return to the classrooms. This preceding situation generated the research question: How to strengthen through a pedagogical proposal, children`s emotional development in two schools in Bogotá, after the lockdown caused by COVID-19 pandemic? In response, experiences faced during the lockdown as well as the return to school from ten transition graders at José María Vargas Vila IED and Friedrich Naumann IED schools in Bogotá were investigated, in order to design the pedagogical proposal "Extraordinary powers for superheroes: emotions in action”, which articulates the findings and the emotional education model from Rafael Bisquerra, and it provides pedagogical guidelines to strengthen the emotional development from this population.
