Resumen
This paper presents the results of the implementation of two projects , the first had as center of interest do a research about what are the relations between the ICTs and the teaching of social sciences in the context of the high school " Liceo Moderno celestin Freinet", the second project had the purpose of do an educational proposal on the use of ICTs for the formation of political subject. In the first chapter present the relations of ICTs and the teaching of social sciences, the role played in the transformation of the present society for the ICTs is recognized as important in the education of students. In the second chapter the resistances were found related to the use of technologies in education, students and teachers are analyzed. Finally in the third chapter it present a pedagogical proposal for the use of technology in education in the area of social sciences, where ICTs are proposed as a method to entice and induce young people to take an interest in education and learning ,seeing the use of ICT as an enabler in formation of political culture in youth.
