Abstract

The Curricular Projects of Technology in Data Systematization and Telematics Engineering currently lack a tool to aid in the modification and updating of their respective curricula, considering that the second program is a continuation of the first. This has led to the proposal of a software model aimed at reducing the time required for decision-making regarding curriculum modifications. This project focuses on developing a web-based management system model for the visualization and analysis of the updated curriculum for the aforementioned programs. The system is divided into five sections, including courses and principles, featuring multiple charts and tables that provide a clear view of the various elements upon which the curriculum depends. The tables allow for a more detailed examination of the corresponding information, as well as modifications, enabling users to visualize the potential results of changes to the curriculum. Currently, this system remains a prototype, as its implementation has not yet been carried out due to pending approval and validation as a decision-making aid. The proposed software is based on data provided by the director of the Technology in Data Systematization curricular project, as well as an open-source system that allows for adaptation to the specific needs and requirements of the project.
