Resumen
Due to the technological developments in the industry, informatics and the incursion of new electronic devices (analog-digital converters, power amplifiers, variators of speed, among others), have increased the interest in knowing and understanding the behavior of the different electromagnetic disturbances present in electrical systems
Throughout the present work is develops and implements a computational tool -programmed in MATLAB ®-based on the transformation local polynomial of Fourier (LPFT). For this, it includes a bibliographic review on signal processing, the definition and properties of the LPFT, as well as computational algorithms and software codes required for its estimate.
The computational tool has been developed for the detection of the frequency instant (IF), the identification of characteristics in the time-frequency plane and the analysis of the components of energy of signals produced by electromagnetic disturbances. Also, it has a graphical interface that gives the user a greater comfort in the handling of the software. The validation of the calculation of the LPFT and the use of the tool is done with theoretical-practical examples found in specialized literature about processing of signals.
Finally, the features are reviewed in time and frequency signals produced by partial discharges and oscillatory transient flickers. The signals defined as cases of study are simulated and analyzed with the help of the computational tool to analyze its behavior in frequency as well as its components of energy.
