Resumen
This research is divided into three parts: the first explores the multiple epistemological changes that have occurred around the conflict between culture and nature, environmental debates and the formation of paradigms, which leads to the conception of the Human Being as a Symbolic Animal, Whose adaptation consists of altering ecosystems supported by their significant aptitude: the second part is the implementation of a pedagogical ethnography that investigates the place and relevance of human disciplines in environmental education contexts in the light of contemporary cognitive turns, Using the historical-geographical review, analytical narrative and communicative analysis; Finally, the third part consists of a critical comparison that confronts the antitheses that see the task of the humanities in environmental education as impertinent, as opposed to the empirical evidences thrown by the ethnographic instruments.
