Resumen
This research is the result of an internship process to obtain the degree of Bachelor for Teaching English as a Foreign Language at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. This internship was focus on Teaching English as Foreign language to adult women in vulnerable conditions inside the educational project “Mujeres para la Vida” by IDIPRON. Women contributed with opinions, experiences and products about their life lessons with English language along their lives. Practitioner teachers supported, accompanied and guided the andragogy development of students by learning-doing which let them to explore and built their own experiential learning. The teaching methodology started from the application of recycling solid material as a means to learn by doing in order to generate learning experiences of English in a theoretical practical way. The data obtained is the result of products make by students, teachers´ logs and questionnaires. The collected data suggest that learning by doing and experiential learning are valid methods for teaching a foreign language to adult people due to their complementarity.
