Resumen
The present work corresponds to the systematization of a pedagogical experience, carried out from the academic spaces called pedagogical cycle and research cycle of the Francisco José de Caldas District University. The experience raises a possibility of teaching and learning the social sciences from school research, which sees in the local problems present in the territory a possibility of analysis and reflection, which allows the collective construction of knowledge through a participatory exercise, evidencing how school educational processes can respond to the realities in which educational institutions are inserted. The systematization is presented as an investigation of pedagogical practices, recognizing them as an object of investigation, the present systematization is based on recognizing in local problems a key point for the beginning of the interpretation and critical analysis of reality, which allows dialogue and forging ties with the community close to the school, and in this way transform the relationship of the school with the space it inhabits, a proposal influenced by the characteristics and scope of popular education (PE), using the PAR as an articulating element between neighborhood and school. The local problem addressed from the IAP, takes the fields of environmental complexity and historical thought as essential elements for the learning of school social sciences, which by having multidisciplinary characteristics, allow a comprehensive approach to the investigated problem, which in this case It takes place in the arm of the Tibabuyes wetland, an ecosystem containing different socio-environmental problems.
