Aviso de venta de solar del antiguo convento de Capuchinos

Abstract

The image contains news about the sale of the large plot of land of the old Capuchin convent, valued at two thousand three hundred and sixteen pesos. The plot measures 126 yards long by 124 yards wide, includes good quality alfalfal and sufficient irrigation, all fenced with well-constructed walls. The sale will be held in public auction on the 21st of this month in the treasury court, motivated by the need of the Merced school for funds for renovations and repairs of the building. The buyer must pay at least two-thirds of the price in cash, and may pay the rest in installments with an annual interest of five percent. If the buyer contracts the work of the renovations, said sum will be considered a cash payment. News published in El Argos, December, 2, 1838.
