Resumen
The present study seeks to understand the informational behaviors that teachers and students of different private schools in the urban sector of Bogotá have in cyberspace. For this purpose, a state of knowledge is presented based on information mapping that allows recognizing the research intention as a potential contribution to the discussions on education and cyberspace. Thus, digital literacy, cybercitizenship, cyberspace and cybergeography are assumed as documentary categories, which in turn contribute to the theoretical foundation of conceptual categories referring to the cybernaut subject and his informational behaviors. The methodological design adopts a historical-hermeneutic posture and the development of an ethnographic view of education that, based on an exploratory questionnaire, workshop-guided focus groups, field diaries and semi-structured interviews, allows the establishment of participant dialogues and the construction of research narratives that will be reflected upon with teachers and student participants throughout the process. The results are expressed in relation to the features of the context and its infrastructure, digital skills and the configuration of the cybernaut subject. Here it makes a contribution at the level of some representations of these relationships that could motivate further work on informational behaviors and their incidence in the educational field.
