Resumen
This document presents the experience developed within the framework of a project focused on the design of a model based on the BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) notation. Its purpose is to manage and document the processes related to qualified registration and high-quality accreditation for the academic programs of Data Systematization Technology and Telematics Engineering at the Francisco José de Caldas District University. The purpose of the work is to serve as a guide for other academic programs interested in implementing a similar model of process management and documentation. In particular, the process of selecting and implementing tools and methodologies for process modeling, project management, and enterprise architecture is detailed. It also includes a comparative analysis of the evaluated options, highlighting their advantages, disadvantages, and their adaptation to specific needs. The experience obtained is presented as a replicable model that can benefit other academic programs in key areas, such as: • Optimization of academic and administrative processes: Improvement in the management of accreditation and qualified registration. • Implementation of effective project management methodologies: Greater efficiency in the coordination and execution of activities. • Strategic alignment of business architecture: Integration of academic and institutional objectives. • Efficient use of technological tools: Automation and effective documentation of processes to ensure traceability and consistency.
