Resumen
The purpose of this project is to identify the behavior of the attenuation controllers used for the operation of LED lamps used in the commercial and residential sector. Through tests developed in the laboratory and with measuring equipment that allow compliance with the IEC 61000 standard, a harmonic distortion analysis was applied to TRIAC and PWM type controllers, comparing levels of illumination, THDi and current, in different configurations with Two measuring equipment. The experimental results show that the TRIAC controller presents harmonic distortion levels that do not comply with the parameters established by the standard, in comparison to the PWM controller, which complies with the norm in most of the attenuation levels. In addition, the existing normative and investigative state is identified, which at the national level lacks technical and experimental bases for this type of technology. Finally, it was observed that there are much more complex mathematical analysis methods which, applied to the results offered by the oscilloscope, can generate a higher level of accuracy compared to the quality analyzer.
