Abstract

The objective of the project "Gestión de colecciones del Museo de Bogotá " is recognize the cultural heritage of Bogota through the collection process of iconographic material, as a result of the archivist exercise of Institute of Cultural Heritage and the District Archive of Bogota, enabling the aesthetic, historical, social, political and cultural construction current in about 25 000 heritage photographs and maps of nineteenth century until the late twentieth century. Over its foundation, the Museum of Bogotá has been implementing alternatives of acquisition, maintenance, dissemination and study of works applied over objects of great historical value , thus being an important institution for researching, educational and cultural Bogotá collective memory, demonstrated in its territory and residents.
