Resumen
Currently, there are socio-environmental conflicts in the Flora and Fauna Sanctuary El Corchal "El Mono Hernández", where there are problems associated with the degradation of the wetland ecosystems present there due to the development of economic activities inside and outside the sanctuary. In view of the above, this document develops the identification of socio-environmental conflicts present in the FFS El Corchal "El Mono Hernández" and its buffer zone by overlaying the environmental determinants and the economic activities developed in the territory. In addition, the driving force-pressure-state-impact-response model is developed to identify the cause and effect relationships of the identified conflicts and formulate management measures to address them. Based on the application of the model, it is determined that the socio-environmental conflicts in the study area are a consequence of the historical, economic, social and cultural dynamics of the communities, which is why it is essential to implement strategies to reduce conflicts in order to guide the territory towards the efficient use of natural resources and the protection of the protected area's conservation values.
