In this document, the activities carried out during the internship at the Agustín Codazzi Geographical Institute (IGAC) are developed in depth, specifically those related to the support provided in the project to calculate the IVP Property Valuation Index for the city of Medellín Antioquia and the preparation of the assessment reports of the Victims Reparation Fund (FRV) in conflict zones, the course of these activities is explained precisely as well as the methodology and tools provided by the IGAC to facilitate the development of the internship and complementary activities that were part of the work environment at the institute; The internship was carried out in the internal work group (GIT) of appraisals, of the cadastre sub directorate and there was training and access to all the necessary information sources for the projects that are in charge of this team; These activities concluded in the results presented at the end of the document and that were previously approved by the respective review committees, the support for the IVP Medellín project represented as the final zones of similar value and the completed project database, the reports of full appraisals of the FRV, complementary activities such as homogeneous land areas carried out for different municipalities, support in appraisal reports for other entities in addition to the FRV and complementary technical support in the IVP project of the city of Santiago de Cali Valle del Cauca. The experience of the internship carried out at the Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute (IGAC) allowed us to experience a work environment conducive to the career and for the knowledge collected throughout it, in addition to granting new practical tools, theoretical knowledge, and more importantly, a national and social context on the application of Cadastral Engineering and Geodesy in processes at a national level that has different repercussions on the entities and inhabitants that are part of our country within the framework of social, economic and multipurpose cadastre policies.
