Abstract

The Directorate of Geographic Information Systems at the Secretariat of Planning of the Cundinamarca Governor's Office, is currently in the process implementation of the department's Spatial Data Infrastructure, by Ordinance 082 of 2018. The Spatial Data Infrastructure is born as a response to the limitations that exist to access and take advantage of the information available to each one of the Secretariats and Entities that conform the Government of Cundinamarca, since it is a a tool that will facilitate decision making and efficient policy management for the department. The development of this internship is intended to support the process of implementation of the Data Infrastructure of Cundinamarca by means of the elaboration of a methodological proposal based on DANE's PEN, which will make it possible to capture information of interest to the institution, resulting in the updating of indicators for the department in different areas. Despite the drawbacks encountered along the way, through the Diagnostic Data Survey 2019, a mean scale diagnosis was obtained on the supply of and demand for spatial and statistical data and the exchange of such data between the participants in the implementation of IDEE - Cundinamarca. Likewise, said. The survey was able to identify the main obstacles and problems faced by public servants Government at the time of accessing the information to take to the pólice carry out their work. For the interns, the development of this project represented a great opportunity to apply the academic knowledge acquired during the training at the undergraduate degree in Cadastral Engineering and Geodesy, as well as the Governorate of Cundinamarca is an entity that looks for a constant development in the implementation of new information technologies by providing interns with the experience and knowledge in various fields at work level.
