Resumen
This project describes the design and implementation of a monitoring and fault detection system that occurs in an electrical microgrid of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, which includes three measurement points, two consumption points and one power generation, using the eGeo Analyzer smart measurement module as the main tool, which measures voltage, current, frequency, temperature, THD, power, phase angles, among others; without the need to make invasive network connections. This module will be the fundamental basis of the project, since it will obtain the necessary parameters of the network, and in this way, it will allow the processing of the necessary data that allows the detection of faults in the microgrid. Additionally, the fault detection system will have a database that will store in quasi-real time the information obtained from the smart meter, it will also be controlled and adjusted by different types of users, for which it is necessary to develop a graphical interface that is friendly with these users and that provides in a simple way the data of interest for each user. This directly implies the elaboration of hierarchies, which allow restricting the information, based on the type of user who wants to access the database, such as a supervisor, a teacher or a student.
