Bareback, Prácticas Sexuales de Resistencia Entre Hombres. Aportes Desde La Genealogía a La Prevención del VIH

Abstract

The present work seeks to generate some kind of knowledge about a genealogical analysis of the sexual practice among men known as bareback, sex to hair or without condom; A topic that has a special relevance for its association with the presence of HIV from its origins, being today much more relevant given the intensification of epidemic figures among the global male population. Given the stigmatizing burden of HIV and the discrimination of sexual relations among men in Western society, a large part of the research work carried out around the world on these issues has been based on written testimonies, internet surveys and In the voices of third parties who think behind anonymous instruments; This has led to the speeches that refer many works look like distant narratives that pallidly transpire a reality almost aseptic and narrated in a politically correct way, letting us guess that, all science has to be much richer, heartbreaking and forceful. For this reason, four years ago I proposed with a research team to immerse myself with a questioning spirit in the sexual scene between men in the city of Bogota, participating in clubs and private parties of sex, orgies; Visiting saunas, videos, shifting the limits of my own sexuality and allowing me to explore much more than I might have done in my forty years of active sex life. Of that work in 2016 was a publication that is the only one of its kind in Colombia when addressing bareback, alternative sexual practices and drug use from the voice of its own protagonists; Themes and methodologies that have fortunately begun to interest the Colombian health system.
