Resumen
This document specifies the main supervision and control variables for photovoltaic parks that have a net effective capacity or power greater than 5 MW, interconnected to the SIN (National Interconnected System) as support to the STR (Regional Transmission System) in Colombia. . For the development of this investigative work, the regulations established in Colombia by the CREG (Energy and Gas Regulatory Commission) were considered. This body, within its legislative powers, determines the different factors of mandatory compliance that electricity generators must have. photovoltaic and wind plants to be able to participate in the national energy system. It also grants powers to the CNO (National Operation Council), whose main function is to agree on the technical aspects to guarantee that the operation of the SIN (National Interconnected System) is safe, economic and environmentally sustainable. From the above, the UPME (Mining Energy Planning Unit) has established strategies and projects to improve electrical systems at the national level, within these projects and strategies are photovoltaic solar plants that, in addition to being a source of renewable energy, can support the different susceptible variations in the electrical system, guaranteeing stability. Based on the above, a research and analysis methodology was implemented that allows us to have a basis regarding the panorama of the operating limits and control variables in photovoltaic solar plants with net effective capacity or maximum power equal to or greater than 5MW according to the framework. regulations in Colombia.
