Abstract

The research project on the Life Cycle Analysis study of white washable vinyl manufactured by Unipinturas Ltda., In the city of Bogotá DC, evaluates the environmental performance and allows a recognition of the potential environmental impacts of its economic activity . To carry out the study, the free OpenLCA software is used, which allows the inventory registration of the products used by the company to develop the environmental impact assessment, using the ReCiPe Midpoint (H) and ReCiPe Endpoint (H) impact methodologies. The results obtained through the software are an approximation of the impacts, which allows to start other studies and research with a greater scope, and thus determine proposals for continuous improvement in the production processes in the Unipinturas Ltda.
