Resumen
Risk management is an important tool for the quality of life of the population, being a duty as a State to guarantee the protection of life, the environment and the sustainable development of the territory, directing its policies to that end. In Colombia, the regulatory framework is Law 1523 of 2012, which establishes the national risk management policy, which also applies to the departmental and municipal sector, as a support for this, Decree 1807 of 2014 is established. That is why this project aims to formulate a program based on methodological tools for the evaluation of the national risk management policy in the municipality of San Francisco, by analyzing the incorporation of this into the planning instruments in the municipality and the formulation of the program called establishment of actions for risk management. The results found are partial compliance with Law 1523 of 2012 by 55%, and compliance with Decree 1807 of 2014 by 76%, generating from the evidence three projects focused on knowledge, management and risk reduction.
