Resumen
This study analyzed the impact of a series of experimental physics workshops aimed at high school students and teachers. These workshops were divided into two cohorts, each lasting six experiments or sessions. The goal was to explore their interest profiles in physics and foster scientific skills, as well as their potential inclination toward a degree in physics or related scientific careers. It also sought to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students and teachers. The results showed an increase in interest in science, improvements in skills such as observation, analysis, and argumentation, as well as a greater willingness among teachers to apply these methodologies in the classroom. Furthermore, the workshops contributed to a dynamic and collaborative learning environment, which favored the development of positive attitudes toward science. The findings of this research suggest that the implementation of experimental physics workshops can be an effective strategy to improve science teaching and foster scientific vocations in students and strengthen strategies in teachers.
