Resumen
The subsidence phenomenon is a vertical movement (sinking or Uprising) of the surface of the earth, which is triggered by several factors like the fluids extraction, the soil compaction, mineral exploitation, etc. Each kind of subsidence is originated from different ways. From the nine kinds addressed each one shares a risk problem for society, but changes its origin and the way in which is triggered, being caused by: the mining, fluid extraction, explosions, tectonic movements, etc. Because of this the phenomenon affects both, big and small countries, being noteworthy: Spain, Colombia, United States, Italy, Mexico, China and Japan. There are several monitoring method both In Situ as per periodical measures topographical, geodesical, with DinSAR systems, photogrametricals, or mechanicals like the use of micrometres and inclinometers. The mitigation of the phenomenon is an extent process that involves many procedures of periodical information from multiple sources, all of them helpful for the later relief or possible prevention of it. In Bogotá the subsidence have been present for several years, but the studies of the subject is minimal, however, it exists basic information for the execution of future studies as: the permanent reception bases that generates movement differentials, the useful cartography of district entities who possess soil types and geological maps for the discrimination of critical zones and the GNSS web of the city. Moreover, the hazards and damages generated by this phenomenon, normally unnoticed and with little annual incidence and even fewer elevation variations (centimeters and millimeters per year), creates crackings and slopes in buildings, roads, and constructions in general.
