Memorias e Imaginarios de Nacion de la Elite Criolla en el Siglo XIX Colombiano: JOSÉ MARÍA OBANDO

Abstract

The aim of this investigation was to find, through the memories of the elite of the XIX century, some Imaginary and social representations of nation. For this target it was looked as the first measure the selection of Jose Maria Obando memories " Apuntamientos para la historia” That were analyzed under the principles of imaginary socially and collective memory. As the second point, to find in the memories the social representations of the historical moment that was to allow to trace how you practice restored in the community imagined of nation. In whose virtue there looked the notions of religiousness, social and racial exclusion; honour and hatred. The analysis of the memories was carried out under the rules of " autobiographical agreement " and hermeneutics of the text. With an intention of relating the memories as source of imaginary and social representations of the public and collective Colombian sphere.
