dc.description	La presente monografía expone la metodología para realizar la cuantificación de poder calorífico forestal aprovechable como fin energético en el departamento de Cundinamarca, para la cual se realiza un análisis detallado del proceso utilizado para conseguir los valores aprovechables de energía. En el desarrollo del mismo se utilizaron herramientas informáticas de sistemas de información geográfica (SIG) para identificar por medio de imágenes satelitales el área y el tipo de vegetación boscosa existente en el departamento, a partir de esta información se procede a elegir la mejor metodología para calcular la biomasa forestal y el poder calorífico. Con base en esto se obtienen los resultados de la cantidad de energía existente por esta fuente de energía alternativa en el departamento, conociendo que los resultados arrojados son aproximados y variantes a través del tiempo.	spa
dc.description.abstract	This monograph presents the methodology for quantification of forest calorific power harvestable as an energy order in the department of Cundinamarca, for which analysis is made detailed process used to obtain exploitable energy values. In its development tools of geographic information systems (SIG) were used to identify through satellite images the area and type of existing forest vegetation in the department, from this information proceeds to choose the best methodology to estimate forest biomass and calorific power. Based on this the results of the amount of energy obtained by this renewable source in the department, knowing that the results thrown are approximate and variants over time.	spa
