Resumen
The effectiveness of artificial perches as facilitators of seed rain in a post-felling area of pine (Pinus patula) (Tausa, Cundinamarca) was evaluate. Fixed point sightings were performed to determine the birds stayed on perches, and to take the time duration of the visit. Seed traps under artificial perches groups were used to collect feces and seeds dispersed. Normality test of Kolmogorov-Smirnov show that the data were not normal, so the nonparametric Kruskal-Wallis test was performed at each of the variables, also the Jaccard index, the Bray-Curtis index, Principal Component Analysis, Hierarchical Grouping and Spearman Correlation test. Significant differences were found in all variables, except for the number of species of birds and plants. Similarity index indicated a similar behavior G6 and G7 groups in most of the variables evaluated, which showed the closeness that these groups and being distant forest reference was due. Meanwhile, hierarchical clustering makes a separation between the nearby forest and close to the road groups. Finally, the Spearman correlation indicates a strong relationship between the length of visits and other variables; this indicates the need to implement structures that allow greater use by birds.
