Resumen
The organization Amway S.A. With a presence in Colombia, mainly in the city of Bogotá, it has outsourced its logistics process, with the logistics operator Serviaturaga S.A. which is in charge of the transport and storage of products, acting as a strategic ally to carry out the processes of collection and distribution, inventory management and storage of Amway merchandise in Colombia. At the beginning of the year 2019, within the strategic planning of the company, it was determined that from the regional management for Latin America, the managers of each country including Colombia, had to review the internal processes and procedures to achieve a cost reduction, which goes aligned with the missionary objectives of the organization to continuously improve its processes, in order to increase its revenues and guarantee its leadership in the market. Taking into account the address given by management; The logistics area of Amway Colombia made a review of its collection, distribution, storage, inventory management and return management processes, the latter being a critical process to guarantee the after-sales service, and minimize economic losses by a Bad management of non-conforming products, which is why it is essential to structure, design and define a reverse logistics process that allows adequate and optimal return management for Amway Colombia in the city of Bogotá.
