Resumen
In this project, a Quality Management System (QMS) was designed and implemented for the LabCIA program and transferred to its different units: Universidad de Antofagasta, Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, and Universidad Nacional Federico Villareal, in order to give order to the entire program and apply it to the CADEP through four stages: diagnosis and planning, design, implementation and determination of results. In the diagnostic stage, the process began with each university, gathering all the necessary and fundamental information about the LabCIA program and the QMS; which "allow to identify and know a series of problems to propose an action plan that guides the future of the organization" (Melo, 2017, p.5). Therefore, it was important to understand the work methodology in each entity because its implementation in LabCIA was variable in each institution due to its international nature, which made differential factors to be handled depending on their needs and contexts. After knowing the important information about LabCIA and the interested entities, the QMS development stage was carried out, starting by identifying the necessary processes to offer the service to the community, as well as the tools and roles that each activity would have. Consequently, for this stage, periodic meetings were held to polish each document and presentation regarding the QMS, in order to obtain the full approval of each university. In the next stage, we proceeded to identify the means for obtaining the results and their interpretation, which in this case were the quality indicators and the validation survey based on the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model), which allowed us to maintain periodic control of the processes, interpreting and capturing the results in graphs to facilitate the understanding of the degree of satisfaction of each activity. Finally, this project culminated with the verification of the results of the surveys directed to the stakeholders of the calls, thus knowing their answers and points of view regarding the implementation of the QMS. Then, it concluded with the analysis of the expected results when implementing the steps for its development in each university and with the intention of improving the quality of the service. In order to understand the framework in which the project was carried out, it should be noted that the LabCIA program is part of one of the modules of the Acacia Centers that seeks to solve different problems with the support of the RIESC Network to which it belongs, which allowed communication between each one of them and feedback of the results obtained together and which served as a guide for the others, thus showing group progress. For this reason, the program sought to achieve a service that would promote the same perspective of inclusion, creativity, and accessibility. As a result, the development of the QMS arose in response to the problems LabCIA was facing, due to the lack of an adequate organization to improve the quality of the processes and achieve the proposed objectives. Therefore, the application of this project sought to offer organizational support and facilitate the achievement of LabCIA program objectives, thus providing a validation system, which allowed the development of projects and calls for proposals under the continuous improvement of processes, ensuring their quality and measuring them by means of quality indicators specifically designed to qualify the activities and finally, the interpretation of the results was developed and the respective conclusions were drawn.
