Seguimiento y análisis de los procesos de instrumentación para el monitoreo y control geotécnico del fenómeno de remoción en masa del Sector Altos de la Estancia

Abstract

During the last decades, there has been a phenomenon of mass removal in several critical points of the sector of Altos de la Estancia, therefore it has had to preventively remove several families who have settled their homes in this sector, which it has generated in an alternating way a great amount of material and economic losses, being generally low-income families which are mainly dignified by the measures of relocating or dismantling the houses. This phenomenon of mass removal is one of the most incipient natural phenomena in the urban development problems of Latin American cities, given that the continuous expansion towards the perimeter hulls of cities with a considerable urban density, makes families and people Interested in living in the indicated cities have to establish their homes in these areas, which due to ignorance and need put their lives and their housing in high risk areas. Therefore, through a series of different instruments such as inclinometers or surveying tools, the corresponding control and monitoring will be carried out in the points established for the geotechnical monitoring of the strata and of the areas that are of high non-mitigable risk, in Altos de la Estancia to validate that the geotechnical condition does not represent any danger to the communities adjacent to the study area.
