Resumen
Climate change is a phenomenon caused by greenhouse gases (GHG), which are mostly the product of the burning of fossil fuels for the generation of electrical energy, causing negative impacts on the environment. Colombia is a privileged country, thanks to the diversity it has throughout its national territory, within which it uses a large part of non-renewable resources such as fossil fuels in energy production, thus generating great impact on the environment. It is for this reason that in the present work the analysis for the proposal of a solar photovoltaic system for the experimental and research center "El Tíbar" of the Francisco José de Caldas District University located in the village of Guasa via Choachí-Ubaque in the department of Cundinamarca; where a study of the energetic characteristics of the property is made and after this a technical proposal is given based on the estimated demand of this. This project seeks to promote research on the generation of energy from non-conventional sources and the appropriation of the spaces offered by the Francisco José de Caldas District University by the university community.
