Resumen
At the epicenter of advanced subsurface exploration, it is important to highlight the advantages and conveniences that innovative equipment like GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar), along with various data post-processing software, offer in areas such as: search, digitization, characterization, and presentation of underground inventories. In this context, the present work focuses on presenting a case study where the GPR equipment was used to conduct the inventory of underground assets in an area of the city of Bogotá. The internship conducted aims to develop a methodological guide that identifies each of the processes for performing 3D mapping of buried infrastructure using GPR together with conventional surveying. To achieve this, the different tools to be used are explained in Chapter 9, "SOFTWARE," while the data collection process in the field is outlined in a guide within Chapter 10, "METHODOLOGY," where the key items to consider are mentioned. Following this, the section titled "OFFICE" will explain how to interpret and post-process the data obtained using the IQMaps software and its subsequent exportation to various formats. Finally, in the "RESULTS" section, the data characterization and the delivery of CAD files using ArcMap and AutoCAD CIVIL 3D will be explained for their final submission. The report not only seeks to describe the GPR usage process but also to promote the use of modern technologies for data collection in underground inventories, improving their quality and reliability.
