Education in science every day is a necessity; successfully achieved allowing society members engage properly the challenges posed by a globalised world. However in everyday practices of teaching Sciences and even more in the teaching methods applied to achieve this objective; teachers see truncated or frustrated our pedagogical practices; on the one hand by the lack of interest by students in the learning of science, on the other hand by the continuous and bad use of the technological tools that are boring and not very significant teaching practice for learners. This document developed as degree in the modality of deepening of the master's degree in education with an emphasis on the nature of science and technology; exposed as a proposal of educational innovation putting up a school research project supported by science fiction, with students from the cycle IV of the I.E.D. Carlos Albán Holguín school, for the teaching and learning of genetics and the possibilities that currently offers this science. In its development in the first instance is carried out a survey that identifies the interests of students on the biology and the relevance of the use of science fiction as alternative didactics; are subsequently selected and shows short films of CF and raised a series of questions which are dealt with following action plans a joint construction product, which allows you to propose a related didactic sequence with the characteristics of the school research teaching model, at that time obtained results are socialized with the educational community by means of posters. Finally is the analysis of the information in two moments, the first through the use of software specialized in the qualitative data analysis, called MAXQDA®, and the second through categorization and triangulation as a validation process of the research.
