Abstract

Taking into account the current requirements of the control entities to the sixth category municipalities with respect to the documentary aspect directly related to the administrative supervision of public works contracts and the not so favorable situations that have been occurring year after year in each audit conducted by the latter in the Municipality of Puerto Triunfo, Antioquia, due to recurrent failures in the performance of this work, the need arises to provide more tools to professionals in the Planning Secretariat of this territorial entity, in order to establish guidelines and unified criteria extracted from the documentation of the municipalities of the sixth category, Antioquia, due to recurrent failures in the performance of this work, the need arises to provide more tools to the professionals of the Secretary of Planning of this territorial entity, in order to establish guidelines and unified criteria extracted from the analysis made in this work and the current regulations. This project is based on establishing a methodology for the administrative supervision of public works contracts in the Municipality of Puerto Triunfo, Antioquia, through the analysis of the shortcomings and weaknesses found after the documentary review of elements such as audit reports from the control entities, petition rights filed in the Planning Secretary, documentation of the most representative contracts contracted under the public bidding modality in this municipality, the selection of criteria based on these results and the current regulations related to the case study.
