Puya santosii is an endemic species of the Altoandina Region of Colombia that belongs to the Family Bromeliaceae, where the majority of plants of the kind Puya live in moors. On the other hand, it is investigation was born of the need for knowing the morphology of Puya santossi, since they find little works that realize descriptions of the internal and external anatomy of the plant. On the other hand, the condition of conservation and the category of threat of this species, according to UICN, is classified as almost threatened (NT) is to say, a species close to be categorized like vulnerably (Betancour & García, 2006) therefore, this work is a contribution to the knowledge and conservation of the flora of the country especially in ecosystems of moor
