Evaluación de sistema de riego por goteo automatizado con energía fotovoltaica para cultivos de cebolla en Duitama

Abstract

Colombia is a country whose agricultural sector, despite having potential, has very large lags in terms of technology, modernization and quality. Proof of this is the lack of modernization in the irrigation system, where inefficient systems with high energy and water costs have been found in the field, impacting farmers' pockets. As a basis for this document, the problem of the farmers of Duitama and their onion crops is taken, who incur various inconveniences in order to meet the energy and water needs of their crops. This document will propose the evaluation and pre-feasibility of the project of an automated drip irrigation system with photovoltaic energy for onion crops in the municipality of Duitama, department of Boyacá. The different technical, financial, legal, logical, environmental and administrative analyzes that lead and make feasible the pertinent approach and future implementation of the technology associated with the proposed project will be presented, in order to generate a contribution to society and Colombian agriculture through the use of engineering, and improve the conditions in which farmers manage their crops and harvest their products.
