Resumen
Industrial activity and transportation are activities that emit a large amount of pollutants into the atmosphere and that mainly affect urban areas, the health of their inhabitants, and at the same time impact ecosystems. The growth of industrial activities and the population in the future projects a parallel increase in emissions into the atmosphere, for which it is necessary to establish stricter regulatory standards. This document has as a baseline of action to strengthen and renew regulatory and technical instruments that allow the reduction of emissions into the atmosphere by updating the emission standards corresponding to Resolution 909 of 2008 for stationary sources. A compilation of the emissions report is carried out from the manufacturing RUA database and from environmental authorities such as SDA, AMVA and CAR in order to compile a single emissions database at the national level. As results, it is evident that for the Particulate Matter (PST) there is a restriction greater than 200% to 500%, being the external combustion equipment, L sector, among others sectors, of those that require a Greater investment in control measures and equipment to reduce emissions. In total, an investment of 0.121 to 0.538 billion pesos is required, being the Particulate Matter (PST) the one that requires the greatest investment in the sectors described in Resolution 909 of 2008 and other segregated industrial activities.
