Plan de negocio para la creación de una empresa de recolección y tratamiento de aceite vegetal usado en la zona sur oriental de Bogotá

Abstract

This document presents an entrepreneurial project that focuses on collecting and treating used vegetable oil to produce biodiesel and glycerin. It is proposed to obtain used vegetable oil belonging to commercial establishments in the towns of San Cristóbal Sur, Usme and Ciudad Bolívar belonging to the south-eastern zone of the city of Bogotá. The transesterification process will transform the vegetable oil into high-quality biodiesel, a clean fuel. In addition, glycerin will be obtained as a by-product, with applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. A financial analysis was carried out, with investment from investors (30%) and bank loan (70%). An annual production of 21,600 gallons is projected, with a return on investment period of 15.5 months and profitability starting in the second year. The project is economically, socially and environmentally viable. The creation of a company with its own logo, mission, vision and organizational chart is proposed to carry out this initiative.
