Resumen
This monograph is the result of the design, implementation and systematization of the experience built through the virtual course Para la guerra nada, which was developed with ninth grade students of the Nelson Mandela district educational institution, located in the town of Kennedy in the city of Bogotá. This work was developed from three fundamental categories of analysis for the approach of the past of political violence in Colombia in an educational space, these were "Teaching recent history", as an emerging field of research in education; "War in Colombia" as a periodization of the phenomenon of political violence and the emergence of internal conflicts, and the proposed category of intervention "Audiovisual representations" as the central didactic strategy. These are pillars in the foundation, creation and application of the course. The text is divided into eight chapters, which the general context of the population is addressed, some research background, the theoretical framework as an approach to the three categories mentioned above; a legal framework, from which the contributions of the guidelines and standards in social sciences, the basic learning rights and the peace professorship are recognised, the research and pedagogical approaches of the proposal, the systematization of the experience, the findings and conclusions.
