Resumen
The study of workload is an analysis tool for industrial engineer to measure the time spent performing one or more work activities with a view to determining the equitable distribution of functions in the workplace. University teachers in their work are not oblivious to the need for the distribution of the academic load is studied. This paper studies component of the course load or teacher workload distributed in three main functions such as: teaching, research and extension, determining not only the time spent on each activity but also analyzes from ergonomics impact on the mental load and physical burden on teacher performance. The study applies the methodology known as system dynamics modeling assignment workload and watch their behavior over time. the existence of significant differences between the teacher who develops research and teaching that develops outreach is evident.
