Resumen
In Colombia one of the most deeply rooted musical practices is the band of wind, whose formation has a generous, rich history and turn much internalized in the collective memory, the wind band has been a means of musical expression, common in our nation and pair it activates the continuous live people. On March 17, 1913 was created the so-called symphonic institution National Band that brought within, throughout its 90 years of existence, a permanent enrichment of the already existing musical repertoire, and the creation of a new one. This degree project aims to the conservation, cataloguing and digitization of the repertoire of composers and Colombian genres existing in the musical archives of the national band, which is in the custody of the National Association of Music Symphony; as a result, it provides 60 pieces of music for band catalogued, digitalized and ordered, of which eight are manuscripts. In addition, an overview of the career of the National Band and their main directors, which includes are view related to the previous initiatives of cataloguing and conservation of existing music files until the day was built from today.
