Resumen
In recent years the relationship between the decrease in the quality of environmental resources such as air and people's health has been identified, especially in large cities such as Bogotá. This research proposal aims to be a tool for decision making, linked to the management of the city's atmospheric resource making the application of the Pasquill - Gifford method for the determination of the stability of the city’s atmosphere through statistical analysis of the climatic data collected by six stations of the Bogotá air quality monitoring network between the years 2007-2015; added to an ARIMA model construction and a study of the city’s land cover change and its influence on atmospheric dynamics. The results showed that in areas of impermeable land coverage, the atmosphere had a more stable behavior linked to a lower dispersion capacity of pollutants, compared to areas with permeable land coverings (vegetated and ground), besides this, they had ARIMA models with a shorter memory and smaller variability characteristics of stable atmosphere. In addition, the results of the statistical analysis of correlation established that the meteorological variable with the greatest influence on atmospheric stability is temperature.
