Resumen
The university institutions in the fulfillment of their functions, must promote programs and plans that impact the quality of life of their students and the integral formation through the areas of university well-being from different strategies, in addition, they have diverse and complex problems that all the community and the need to obtain population information from each of the groups that agree to its solution is visible, because the existing knowledge about the effectiveness of university wellness programs is limited. In the present investigation, a specific emphasis is made on the undergraduate students of the Faculty of Engineering of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, with the objective of proposing an impact model of the health services offered that allow analyzing those dimensions that the university life in order to have the necessary information and provide knowledge to the directives of the University and Institutional Well-being for the improvement of each of the services they provide, and in the same way to have a better orientation in decision-making. In this descriptive research, we seek to carry out an impact model of the health services offered by the Institutional Well-being center to the students of the Faculty of Engineering of the Francisco José de Caldas District University in order to establish the relationships that may exist among the main characteristics identified throughout this work and that are presented in Higher Education Institutions. A systematic review of the literature was conducted to define the key variables and develop the design of an impact model and the application of an instrument for the validation of the model built specifically under the needs and information required. In the same way, the SPSS software is used to carry out the analysis of information using descriptive statistics and conclude the identification of relationships between dimensions together with their variables such as academic performance, with the health services offered by Institutional Well-being, sociodemographic characteristics, quality of life and health status, as well as the dimensions of quality of life and health status with the health services offered by the Institutional Well-being center. With these identified correlations, it is possible to conclude which have an impact on university students and, additionally, to be able to propose an action to improve University Welfare in order to provide an integrated service and alinated with the university life of students.
