Construcción y actualización de información base del proceso de extensión y proyección social para el desarrollo y avance de la política 4: modernización de la gestión administrativa, financiera y del talento humano, dentro del marco del plan estratégico de desarrollo 2008-2016 de la Universidad Distrital Francisco José De Caldas

Abstract

The objective of this project is the construction and updating of the base information of the Extension and Social Projection Process. This project was carried out by the student over 12 months in order to improve the aforementioned processes, performing the role of administrative monitor, performing activities of the SIGUD in auxiliary work of the Advisory Office of Planning and Control of the Francisco District University José de Caldas. With the accompaniment and direction of the Industrial Engineering curricular project and the Planning and Control Office, the updating and adjustment of the characterization, procedures, formats, legal basis, indicators, process risks were developed in accordance with the established Work Plan. of Extension and Social Projection, additionally, the base information was collected to carry out the study of workloads of said process. When standardizing the documentation of the process it was evident that one of the critical points is the outdated and / or lack of coupling between the documentation handled in the procedures associated with the process of Extension and Social Projection and the other processes developed in the District University. Francisco José de Caldas, who are part of the Integrated Management System, in order to avoid duplication of information. The identification of the management indicators allowed the managers to visualize a way to increase the capacities to exercise control and follow-up of the procedures. The correct identification and evaluation of the risks became a crucial element in the organizational management of the university, which provided the managers to anticipate situations potentially adverse to the process. It is expected that the products generated in this Degree Project will favor the improvement of the Integrated Management System, with the aim of generating rapid and effective decision making, granting the development of all the processes that are part of this system, in conditions of transparency, efficiency in the use of resources and effectiveness in accordance with the objectives of the university.
