Resumen
The university welfare office of the Francisco José de Caldas District University provides various services to ensure the comprehensive well-being of the academic community. Regarding health, it offers services such as general medicine, nursing, psychology, dentistry and physiotherapy. To date, no mechanism has been established to measure the impact that these services have on various aspects of students' lives. The objective of this study is to develop a model that allows measuring the impact, centered on the aforementioned health services and focusing on the population of interest, the students of the Environment and Natural Resources headquarters. The development methodology was divided into four phases. It began with a systematic documentary review, followed by the definition of the model and its variables based on this review. The model was then validated with a data collection instrument and, finally, a correlation analysis was performed. In this analysis, descriptive correlational methods were used, and statistics such as chi square and Pearson correlation coefficients were applied. The results revealed that the impact of the services provided by the university welfare office is reflected in variables such as satisfaction with the services received, the frequency of access to them, the ease of access and the follow-up provided to users. These variables presented a moderate relationship in pairs defined for analysis. There was not enough statistical evidence to affirm that health services greatly influence any aspect of students' lives.
